About Me/Bio
Hi there,
I am a British born, UK trained Clinical Psychologist working in Dubai. People might see a psychologist for many reasons; examples include mental health problems, relationship difficulties, or issues managing their current circumstances. I work with individuals (children, teenagers and adults), families, and couples who may be experiencing these difficulties. I am also a specialist working with neurodiversity and neurodivergence differences (e.g., ASD, ADHD).
I also have an interest in supporting clients to explore their identity and delivering culturally appropriate adaptations to psychological therapy.
Psychological therapy is a collaborative journey between a therapist and client. I work alongside clients to tailor interventions that are in line with their personal values and goals. Therapy can be short or long term, based on a person’s preference.
I am trained to use therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Compassion Focused Therapy.
Psychological therapy is built on rapport and trust. I provide a judgement free and safe space for clients to explore their difficulties. I value working with people involved in a client’s life when appropriate. I have previously worked within family therapy clinics, and I am open to family and network participation in sessions. I am also experienced in providing consultations to other professionals and organizations.
I provide support for a range of presentations such as:
