Originally trained and educated in Denmark, I migrated to the Middle East in 2019, where I have been working as a clinical psychologist since. I draw from a variety of methodologies, but my primary approach is working with our patterns of thinking, and how that affects our feelings and actions. I am a level 3 certified practitioner in TEAM-CBT, and I use cognitive and mindfulness techniques to work with clients on anxiety, depression, self-worth and trauma related experiences in my sessions. I consider my role as a psychologist to be the guide in how to overcome mental health challenges, and to offer my clients techniques for which they can work through their experiences. However, while I am able to offer advice on how to overcome these challenges, it is important for me that the client is in the “driver’s seat”, and that you as a client set the goals for our sessions together.
