About Me/Bio
Hi, I’m Niamh, a Clinical Psychologist from Ireland who trained and worked in the UK before practicing in Dubai. I am passionate about working with children, young people and their families, and I adopt a child-centred approach in all of my work. This means that I aim to work flexibly around a young person’s individual needs, for example working playfully and creatively in sessions with children, integrating parental work within the therapy process, or liaising with schools to support young people within their communities. I strive to make clients feel heard, accepted, and understood, and I am honoured to walk alongside families and young people when working towards value-based goals. I work integratively and systemically, which means I adopt a range of evidence-based therapeutic approaches to aid young people and their families improve their overall wellbeing and quality of life. Additionally, I highly value working with neurodivergent young people and their families, including working with young people directly, or with family members through group-based interventions. Overall, I aim to make therapy an accessible, flexible, and effective experience, where children and their families feel held, supported, and safe.
