ABOUT ME/BIO
With over 6 years of experience in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and early intervention, I am a passionate qualified behavior analyst (QBA) based in Dubai, UAE. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with Counseling and a Master’s degree in Applied Psychology. My clinical work focuses on supporting children with autism, developmental delays, and other neurological differences, using evidence-based strategies rooted in ABA and compassionate, family-centered care. I have worked closely with multidisciplinary teams across home, clinic, and school settings, offering individualized therapy plans, caregiver coaching, and functional communication training. I am deeply committed to creating meaningful progress for every child I work with, and helping families feel empowered along the journey.
HOW I CAN HELP YOU
I support children with developmental delays, autism, ADHD, and other neurological conditions by using practical, evidence-based strategies to help them communicate better, manage big emotions, and build everyday life skills. I take a play-based and child-led approach, always making sure your child feels safe, understood, and motivated to learn. I also work closely with you as the parents and caregivers, offering guidance and support so that progress continues at home. My goal is to make learning fun, meaningful, and tailored to your child’s unique needs. I use various approaches including evidence-based strategies based in applied behavior analysis (ABA), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) and a trauma-informed approach to ensure safety and security in a therapeutic environment.
WHY I AM SPECIALIZED IN THIS FIELD
My journey into this field is deeply personal. I have an older brother with neurological differences who, unfortunately, did not receive the early support and structured intervention he needed. This led to long-term challenges, including emotional distress, aggression, and depression—experiences that deeply impacted our family. Watching this unfold gave me a strong purpose: to ensure that other children with special needs are seen, supported, and given every opportunity to thrive. I began my professional path by becoming a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) and later became certified as a Qualified Behavior Analyst (QBA). I now work independently with families and their children, using my personal understanding and professional training to provide compassionate, tailored support that helps each child grow into the best version of themselves.
WHAT I SAY TO PEOPLE WHO FEEL NERVOUS OR HAVE CONCERNS ABOUT THERAPY/ASSESSMENT
If you’re new to therapy or reaching out for support for the first time, it’s completely normal to feel uncertain, overwhelmed, or even a little ashamed. But please know, asking for help is not a sign of weakness; it’s a powerful act of strength. It means you care, you’re trying, and you're willing to take the first step toward positive change. Whether you're a parent seeking guidance for your child or someone exploring therapy options for the first time, I see you, and I admire your courage. You’re not alone in this journey, and together, we can work toward building confidence, skills, and hope one step at a time.
WHAT MEASURES I USE IN ASSESSMENTS
There are multiple measures used in terms of assessment, including functional behavior assessments to identify the reason of challenging behavior, developmental and skill-based assessments to evaluate the child's current skill level, set goals and track progress, behavior rating scales and checklists and curriculum-based assessments. These assessments are used to assess your child's individual needs to develop a holistic and individualized treatment plan just for them.
SLIDING SCALE OR PRO-BONO
I’m committed to making therapy more accessible for families in need. While I do not offer free sessions, I do offer reduced rates on a case-by-case basis. If affordability is a concern, I encourage you to reach out via email to briefly share your situation, and we can explore a rate that works for both of us.
