HOW I CAN HELP YOU
I am provide a safe, supportive space where we can work together to understand your challenges and find practical ways to make life feel more manageable.
I work with adolescents (11+) and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, emotional ups and downs, personality-related difficulties, and crisis situations. Using primarily CBT and other evidence-based approaches, I help you develop tools to manage emotions, break unhelpful patterns, and build resilience.
Therapy begins with getting to know you, understanding your experiences, and setting clear, achievable goals. My aim is to guide you toward clarity, stability, and meaningful change, at a pace that feels right for you.
WHY I AM SPECIALIZED IN THIS FIELD
I am specialised in supporting people through complex emotional and mental health challenges because of my extensive clinical experience in high-intensity settings, including UK NHS crisis services and international practice. This has given me deep insight into how crises, emotional dysregulation, and mental health difficulties affect daily life.
My training in CBT, alongside therapies like DBT, EMDR, CFT, and MBCT, allows me to tailor interventions to each person’s needs. I am committed to creating a safe, structured, and collaborative space where clients can gain understanding, develop practical tools, and achieve lasting change.
WHAT I SAY TO PEOPLE WHO FEEL NERVOUS OR HAVE CONCERNS ABOUT THERAPY/ASSESSMENT
“It’s completely normal to feel nervous, anxious, or even a bit embarrassed about starting therapy . many people feel that way at first. Therapy isn’t about judging you; it’s a safe space where we work together to understand your experiences and find practical ways to feel better. You don’t need to have all the answers or know exactly what you want to talk about . just showing up is the first step, and it’s okay to take it at your own pace.”
WHAT MEASURES I USE IN ASSESSMENTS
In assessments, I combine structured clinical interviews, standardized questionnaires, and psychometric tools, including personality measures, to gain a comprehensive understanding of your mental health and functioning. These tools help identify patterns, risk factors, and areas for support. Common measures include:

Mood and anxiety assessments – to evaluate depression, anxiety, and related symptoms

Crisis-related measures – to understand the impact of high-intensity or stressful experiences

Personality and emotional functioning psychometrics – including emotion regulation, interpersonal patterns, and coping styles

Cognitive and neuropsychological screening – where relevant for attention, memory, or decision-making

Risk and safeguarding assessments – especially in high-intensity or crisis situations

These measures are used alongside a thorough clinical interview to produce a structured, evidence-based, and trauma-informed report, whether for therapy planning or medico-legal purposes.

I would love to connect with you!
