I am a UK-trained and DHA-licensed Clinical Psychologist with over 15 years’ experience working with children, families, and adults in the mental health sector. I completed my training at the University of Hertfordshire, UK. I bring a warm and empathic style to therapy, working in collaboration with children, families and adults to reach their goals. I have extensive experience in supporting children and families with neurodevelopmental needs and various mental health presentations.
As a systemic practitioner, I have experience in providing family therapy to those with a range of life stressors, including new diagnoses, traumatic life events, physical health changes and relationship challenges.
Within adult work, I support individuals to explore their current difficulties around anxiety, low mood and life stressors. I have experience working with work-related stressors and supporting adults in managing their well-being in relation to work pressures and challenges that affect their neurodiversity. I facilitate corporate workshops around stress, burnout, neurodiversity and grief at work, and I am passionate about supporting women at work and with later diagnoses of Autism and ADHD. I am a trauma-focused practitioner and emphasise the need for healing to occur in all areas. My approach is person-centred and aims to help individuals find compassion, strength, and healing through therapy.
I specialise in conducting a range of assessments, such as Psycho-educational assessments, autism, and ADHD for young people and adults. I further conduct thorough psychological assessments for various mental health conditions.
I work with clients face-to-face and online. I have a range of training including Systemic Family Therapy (level 2); Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy (level 1); Interpersonal Psychotherapy (level 1); EMDR Therapy for Trauma; Compassion Focused Therapy; Cognitive Behavioural Therapy; Narrative therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.
I adopt a calm, compassionate, and caring style to help children and young people and to strengthen their networks.
