About Me/Bio
I am a UK HCPC registered Clinical Psychologist as well a DHA Licenced Psychologist with over 15 years’ experience of working with children, families and adults within the mental health sector. I completed in her training at the University of Hertfordshire, UK. I bring a warm and empathic style to therapy, working in collaboration with children, families and adults to reach their goals. I have extensive experience in supporting children and families with neurodevelopmental needs and various mental health presentations. I adopt a calm, compassionate and caring style in order to help children and young people; as well as strengthen their networks. As a systemic practitioner, I have experience of providing family therapy to those with a range of life stressors including new diagnoses, traumatic life events, physical health changes and relationship challenges. Within adult work, I support individuals to explore their current difficulties around anxiety, low mood and life stressors. My approach is person centred and aims to guide individuals to find compassion, strength and healing in the process of therapy. Further, I have a real interest in assessments and has experience in neuropsychological assessments as well as specific diagnostic assessments, such as Autism. My approach as a Clinical Psychologist is flexible and works with clients through face-to-face interactions as well as online. I have a range of training including: Systemic Family Therapy (level 2); Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy (level 1); Interpersonal Psychotherapy (level 1); Cognitive Behavioural Therapy; Narrative therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.
