ABOUT ME/BIO

I’m a CDA-licensed psychologist working with adults in Arabic, English and French. I support people with anxiety, stress, low mood, grief, relationship difficulties and major life transitions. Many of my clients are professionals under sustained pressure or people adjusting to life in Dubai. Before psychology, I spent years leading creative teams in Dubai, Amman and Beirut, so I know that world from the inside. I have a particular focus on perinatal mental health, including fertility stress, pregnancy and postpartum anxiety, difficult births, and pregnancy loss. My approach is relational and body-aware, grounded in CBT and mindfulness, and informed by my ongoing training in Compassionate Inquiry, Somatic Experiencing, EMDR and the Gottman Method. Sessions are a space where you’re met with curiosity rather than judgement, at a pace that feels safe for you.

HOW I CAN HELP YOU
You might come to therapy feeling anxious, overwhelmed, low, or stuck in a transition that’s harder than you expected, whether that’s a move, a loss, a relationship under strain, or becoming a parent. Together we look at what’s happening in your thoughts, your feelings and your body, and how they connect.

I use CBT to help you notice and shift patterns that keep you stuck, and I bring in mindfulness and body awareness so you can feel more settled, not just think differently. Underneath that, I’m curious about the deeper story: what your reactions are trying to protect, and what you need now. We go at a pace that feels right for you.
WHY I AM SPECIALIZED IN THIS FIELD
In 2018, both my mother and my sister were diagnosed with cancer. Living through that, and seeing how much people need to feel supported when life suddenly shifts, changed something in me. I realised I wanted to spend my working life doing something more meaningful, so I left a long career leading creative teams in Dubai, Amman and Beirut to train as a psychologist.

I hold an MSc in Psychology and a Diploma in CBT, with further training through the Beck Institute. My interest in perinatal mental health led me to train with the Seleni Institute (perinatal mood and anxiety, and perinatal loss and grief), the COPE Institute, and The Portal . I’m currently training in Compassionate Inquiry, Somatic Experiencing, EMDR and the Gottman Method.
WHAT I SAY TO PEOPLE WHO FEEL NERVOUS OR HAVE CONCERNS ABOUT THERAPY/ASSESSMENT
Reaching out for therapy can feel uncomfortable, and that’s completely normal. Many people wonder if their struggles are “big enough,” or feel a little embarrassed to ask for help. You don’t need to have the right words or know exactly what’s wrong. We can start wherever you are. Therapy isn’t about fixing you; it’s a space to be heard, to understand yourself with more kindness, and to find a way forward that fits your life.

I would love to connect with you!
