As a Licensed Psychologist, I am privileged to join people on some of their most challenging journeys. My passion is to help children learn how to achieve their full potential and thrive. I specialize in working with children, adolescents, and young adults with a range of socio-emotional and behavioral problems. I offer parenting training, child therapy, and group therapy. I also conduct evidence-based emotional and behavioral assessments and a range of Psychoeducational assessments. In my work with children and adolescents, I use person-centered therapy, behavioral therapy (CBT), Psycho-Dynamic therapy, Play-Therapy, Mentalization-based Interventions with Children and their families, and Schema therapy. I am experienced in the assessment of developmental disorders, including autistic spectrum disorders, ADHD, and Behavioral disorders. I have a particular interest in emotional intelligence and social skills. I use my skills as a clinical psychologist to treat a wide range of problems from mood disorders (anxiety, depression, OCD) to problems in the parent-child relationship, Attachment disorders, and behavioral disorders. One of the most important pillars of my therapeutic approach is the relationship. I do believe that, whatever the individual approach or clinical technique, the therapeutic relationship is one of the most powerful determinants for therapeutic progress. My approach incorporates an empathic, practical, playful, and relational approach to psychotherapy with clients and their families. With extensive training and experience in the field of psychology and mental health, I have worked with children with a range of socio-emotional, developmental, and behavioral problems at all stages of development. Prior to joining The Free Spirit collective, I worked in Dubai for the Lighthouse Arabia for wellbeing in Dubai for 5 years, where I developed my work with children and parenting. Beyond my individual work, I work closely with other organizations and groups supporting mental health in the UAE. I am passionate about educating and sharing knowledge around mental health and believe that honest conversation and education raise awareness and decrease stigma.
