About Me/Bio
I am a Clinical Psychologist, licensed with the DHA (Dubai), HCPC (UK) and AHPRA (Australia). In Australia, I worked predominantly with children, adolescents and families in both government-funded and private clinics. In the UK, I worked with adults in NHS hospital and crisis care settings. Here in the UAE, I work with young people, adults and families, with a diverse range of reasons for seeking professional support. I draw on individual, systemic and attachment-based therapeutic approaches based on the needs of individual clients and families. I have a special interest in attachment-based and relational approaches, and these continue to shape my therapeutic style and ongoing professional development. I completed a postgraduate certificate in Systemic/Family Therapy at the Tavistock and Portman in the UK. More recently I have completed training in Schema Therapy and Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy. I am Indian, Australian and British, and proud to be all three. My cultural narratives continue to shape me personally and professionally. I feel privileged to work with young people, adults and families in the UAE with their own individual, family-based and generational narratives.
