Abstract
is a critical period of neurodevelopment marked by significant cognitive, emotional, and behavioral changes. When neuropsychological conditions like ADHD, autism, learning disabilities, and mood disorders occur together, accurate diagnosis and effective management become more complex. This presentation explores the challenges of comorbid neuropsychological conditions in adolescents, focusing on diagnostic difficulties, overlapping symptoms, and practical intervention strategies.
This talk introduces a multimodal approach to evaluation that combines cognitive testing, behavioral observations, and real-world context and discusses the importance of interdisciplinary collaboration.
By examining the intersection of neurodevelopmental and psychiatric conditions, this presentation aims to support clinicians in delivering more accurate assessments and effective interventions for adolescents with complex needs.
