HOW I CAN HELP YOU
My years working with children and adolescents within the fields of neurodevelopment and mental health have shaped my practice to address recurrent needs:

- Support with Understanding: Through psychoeducation, I strive to equip families with knowledge. This not only aids in understanding but also becomes an advocacy tool at home, in schools, and throughout the community.

- Support with Parenting & Parental Guidance: Parenting a child with unique needs can be both rewarding and challenging. I'm here to offer guidance, sharing insights and strategies to best support your child's journey.

- Support with Emotional Regulation: Encouraging a child's self-regulation and emotional control is vital for their wellbeing. Techniques from 'The Zones of Regulation' guide my approach here.

- Support with Structure and Efficiency: Assisting in developing daily living skills and instilling organisational methods ensures a more structured and efficient day-to-day life.
WHAT I SAY TO PEOPLE WHO FEEL NERVOUS OR HAVE CONCERNS ABOUT THERAPY/ASSESSMENT
When families come to me for an assessment, I always emphasise that while we gather measurable data, the true essence of a child goes beyond what can simply be counted. There are qualities that metrics can't capture, and that remain profoundly meaningful in the life of a child and their family.
WHAT MEASURES I USE IN ASSESSMENTS
I utilise leading, validated, and reliable standardised assessment tools and rating scales for children and adolescents. This encompasses Intellectual/Cognitive tools such as the WISC, WNV, and WPPSI; Neuropsychological instruments like the NEPSY and D-KEFS; Social Communication scales such as the ADI and ADOS; and Developmental measures including the Bayley and Mullen.

For French-speaking children and adolescents, I also employ the corresponding French-standardised tools.
