HOW I CAN HELP YOU
The decision to seek help is a powerful early step in overcoming your difficulties. I offer a safe space to talk, explore and unpack underlying factors contributing to your issues, identify goals for change, and work towards that change. My approach to you is defined by your needs and expectations. Therapy is a collaborative process between the client and the therapist, and while commitment on your part is critical for progress, it must be matched with commitment on my part, and I ensure I offer this to every client.
WHY I AM SPECIALIZED IN THIS FIELD
I have been working in the field of mental health for over two decades. My work over these years has helped me evolve not only as a therapist but also personally. I view the therapeutic relationship as a two way relationship and value the trust my clients place in me. I care about their journey and ensure that I tap on my training, expertise and experience to cater to their needs. I believe therapy to be a dynamic process and continue to invest in ongoing education to keep evolving. At a personal level I find strength from my clients, in the resilience and in their commitment to improve the quality of their lives. This reinforces my commitment towards my work and to helping people.
WHAT I SAY TO PEOPLE WHO FEEL NERVOUS OR HAVE CONCERNS ABOUT THERAPY/ASSESSMENT
We all experience ups and downs and most have the ability to cope with challenges. However, there are times when support can go a long way in helping us cope with difficult times. To reach out and ask for help is a sign of strength and not weakness. Therapy offers you a safe, non-judgemental and confidential space to talk. Give it a chance, you don't have to struggle alone. Therapy is an empowering process that can not only help you overcome your challenges but also learn effective ways of navigating through life going forwards.

I would love to connect with you!
