I am a dual trained Clinical Neuropsychologist and Clinical Psychologist and completed my undergraduate studies and Doctorate degree at The University of Western Australia. I hold full dual specialist title registration and endorsement as both a Clinical Psychologist and Clinical Neuropsychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia, AHPRA. I am a member of the Australia Psychological Society (MAPS), College of Clinical Psychologists and College of Clinical Neuropsychologists. I have extensive experience working with child, adolescent and adult client groups, in both an inpatient clinical and outpatient community setting. My various professional roles have entailed conducting comprehensive decision-making capacity assessments as well as diagnostic neuropsychological and psycho-educational assessments. Additionally, I have provided therapy to clients with mood-related difficulties, including high-risk suicidality and self-harm, chronic pain, eating disorders, smoking cessation, personality disorders, relationship problems, perfectionism and addictions. I have received specialised training and experience in the assessment of various neuropsychological disorders and injury in children, adults and older adults, such as dementia, traumatic brain injury, epilepsy, stroke, brain cancer, cerebral palsy, traumatic birth-related brain injury, intellectual disability, diabetes, learning disabilities and ADHD. I work from a systems perspective and provide therapeutic interventions that are tailored to the client’s needs and individualized goals. I am mindful of each client’s personal context, including their social, emotional, educational and cultural background, as well as their personality style. I feel that it is imperative when working with clients to ultimately provide space for them to feel heard and understood.
